A Legacy of Orthodontic Excellence
Honoring Dr. Thomas Jaeger
For more than 30 years, Dr. Thomas Jaeger provided trusted orthodontic care to families across the Hunterdon and Warren County communities. From the beginning, his mission was simple: to treat every patient with integrity, precision, and compassion.
Dr. Jaeger’s legacy continues to shape the culture at Loew & Patel Orthodontics today. His longstanding dedication to clinical excellence and family-focused care laid the foundation for the warm, professional environment our patients know and love.
A Career Built on Commitment
Dr. Jaeger earned his undergraduate degree from Rutgers University in 1979 and went on to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Maryland in 1982. He completed a General Practice Residency and spent a year in private practice before returning to Maryland to pursue his orthodontic training, which he completed in 1986.
He was a proud member of both the New Jersey Association of Orthodontists and the American Association of Orthodontists.
Over the course of his career, Dr. Jaeger built lasting relationships with generations of families and mentored numerous dental professionals—many of whom carry forward his example of integrity and skill.
A Shared Practice, A Shared Vision
Dr. Jaeger spent his career practicing alongside his wife, Dr. Melissa Jaeger, a periodontist. Together, they built a trusted, family-centered practice where patients felt truly cared for.
Their office served as a cornerstone of the community for three decades, supporting not just individual patients but entire families across multiple generations. Dr. Jaeger’s focus on honest communication, conservative treatment planning, and long-term results helped establish a reputation for excellence that lives on in our practice today.
Family, Community, & Life Beyond the Office
Outside of the office, Dr. Jaeger and his wife raised four children—each a graduate of North Hunterdon High School and now pursuing professional careers of their own.
Though now retired from active practice, Dr. Jaeger remains deeply connected to the community he served. His decades of work not only shaped thousands of smiles, but also helped foster a practice culture built on kindness, continuity, and respect.
