MEET DR. NIYATI PATEL-PAREKH

Dr. Niyati Patel-Parekh received her Dental Degree from the Rutgers School of Dental Medicine in 2010 graduating number one in her class. She was granted the Alpha Omega National Fraternity Award of excellence for her scholastic achievement and received the American Association of Orthodontics Award by the faculty in addition to numerous awards. She received her orthodontic specialty certification and her Master's in Dental Science from Rutgers School of Dental Medicine in 2013. She was also appointed as the Chief Resident during her residency.

Dr. Patel is a member of the American Dental Association and American Association of Orthodontics. She is a board-certified orthodontist and owned a practice in Troy, Michigan. She recently moved to New Jersey and now works with Dr. Loew at Loew and Patel Orthodontics in Flemington, Annandale, and Bridgewater, NJ.

Dr. Patel believes that orthodontics allows her to practice her two favorite interests in one field- Art and Science. She is a compassionate, energetic, patient-focused orthodontist. She is known as a perfectionist by her patients. Her fun, outgoing personality builds strong relationships with her patients and their families, while at the same time maintaining a high level of professionalism. She has extensive experience in working with children and adults from diverse backgrounds and abilities. She has a wide range of proficiency in many cutting-edge treatment modalities such as temporary anchorage devices, self-ligating bracket systems (Damon™ Smile system), soft tissue lasers, and multiple functional appliances. She has also been certified in Invisalign® (clear aligners) and Incognito™ (lingual braces).

Dr. Patel is married to her childhood sweetheart, Ravish Parekh, since 2006. She loves to spend time with her son Aariv and her dog Barney. In her free time, she loves painting, exploring new places, biking, and trying new sports and activities with family and friends. Dr. Patel is passionate about volunteering and giving back to the local community.
